Freelance videographer shot White Sox, other Chicago sports teams Posted on August 25th
Andrew Lock loved training a video camera on sports figures, and he did it at more than 1,200 White Sox games, in addition to covering the Bulls, Blackhawks and Bears.
“Andy worked almost every home game,” said Gene Honda, White Sox public address announcer. “He was also the person they called for player events, appearances, anything they needed.”
Mr. Lock, 52, died of a heart attack Wednesday, Aug. 20, in Mercy Hospital, Chicago, after being taken there from U.S. Cellular Field, where he had been preparing for a White Sox broadcast.
Chicago broadcaster Bonnie Greene collaborated with Mr. Lock, a freelance videographer and producer, on many projects.
